"A Moonlit Sky"
As I wander aimlessly
Through all the struggle and strife
I find myself bloodied and beaten
Praying to gods I don't believe in
Begging and pleading for a moment of peace
Ever struggling to get back on my feet
The begging and pleading is done in vain
With tears down my cheek and all hope run dry
I would end my life, for I was ready to die
Suddenly, a magnificent image then caught my eye
The moonlit sky, so beautiful and vast
Overpowered my body and soothed my shaken soul
I, a broken man, was once again whole
Now I stand, feet planted firmly in the ground
I shall march forward and I will not look back
But I will always remember that fateful night
Where I witnessed a power that I cannot deny
The soul mending power of a moonlit sky
