Just A Sigh

another puff of smoke
another gulp to drink
and another moment
a ticking time to think
about where I'm going
with a flick of flint
the spark is spreading gossip
as the tongue salivates
for a wound to lick, up the nose
says good morning before
the sun remembers to smile
before the cereal turns soft
and soggy, how will these
heels shuffle across snow
depends on the sandy eyes
so heavy with the yester miles
every step a piercing shard of glass
and every drop of blood
bled from the tough skin, ready
to walk a spiral staircase
towards golden gates
seraphic wings flap as pure white truth
bends and sits on my lap
so simple, and common across
the curiously dilated pupils
staring into mundane walls
like a prayer praying
for scripture describing
time machine blue prints
explaining every awkward moment
as a past worth living
when glossy eyes meet mine
when the darkness convinces
the genius light bulb to take five
complicated calculations are just lines
fine, color within or maybe beyond
defining the creative process with crayons
to go beyond might be a revolution
as hopeful guitarists find those strings
to pluck in line with a heart which beats
with heavy sighs, thinking of thick lips
puckered for an unexpected kiss
like a nuclear bomb, it rises
well beyond original imagination
as the chapped lips smile
it's okay, as the sun rises
yet it could be better
when my hands reaches across stars
just to feel pale white skin
while these stale jokes bring laughter
among those whom have lost hope
in the thought of waking up
just because the day shines gray
so why not tumble, toss and turn
for another hour or so
as the wind whispers about warmer faces
smiling underneath the melting snow
