Morbid Legacy
How I wonder
When this gentle planet
Will peel away this invasive synthetic skin
We call the human race
The only living organism so grotesque it rejects the perfect rhythms of nature's binding heart beat
Living out of phase with spiritual harmony
Running out of time to melt into the salvation of this music
Trading away raw wilderness for treated concrete
We sprout upon the earth like alien mold spores
As tainted apparitions hellbent on corrupting
Consuming all in a greedy swinish fever pitch
What will be the remain of the ravaged virgin apple?
Plastic and Cockroaches.
