Only to remind me
The reason I remained concealed.
You shook up my world
Just to permanently leave it upside down.

But I keep charging

Rotting

I like the femme fatale tone, right out of noir. some night he'll by you a drink & say 'here's looking at you, kid.'...
this i can relate too,the frustration,i almost think (at least for myself anyway)that,that's the reason i can't seem to stay away from her,the thing is it hurts just as much being next to her as it does to stay away ,anyway i see a lot here,selfishly i feel better knowing i am not alone in feeling this way,but then that's just my take, very good read.
