Letters
Her parchment paper lips
never lied.
Attonment made with words
I never heard her speak,
were buried deep within her pen
and notebook.
I swear
I never meant to peek
but I grew weary
waiting for the truth
when our eyes would not even linger
in fear of revealing
the words and letters our hearts hear
but lips never knew
never lied.
Attonment made with words
I never heard her speak,
were buried deep within her pen
and notebook.
I swear
I never meant to peek
but I grew weary
waiting for the truth
when our eyes would not even linger
in fear of revealing
the words and letters our hearts hear
but lips never knew
