I know I'm awake
cause I'm screaming
come daybreak
no-one's dreaming.
Open the curtain
become the unheard.
Though certain
I'm undisturbed.
It is hard to believe
a thin disguise
soon to leave
with only eyes.
Barely able to conceal
with sleepy mist
everything real
I somehow missed.

Thank you, it sprang from a loss of love, and from recent sleep paralysis experiences which have been keeping me company in a variety of forms, lately anyhow.
