I'm Gone

Okay, that's it,
I'm outta here,
gonna hit the open road,
it's been a long year,
I'm stressed out,
my heart's strained,
so I'm gonna ride fast,
like I can outrun the pain,
I'm on a motorcycle,
somewhere in Madagascar,
wind in my hair,
faster and faster,
gonna soak in some hot springs,
climb some majestic mountains,
try lots of new things,
no more of the city nonsense,
just jungle love,
strange animals that exist nowhere else,
I'm a humble one,
a strange animal that exist nowhere else,
I'm gonna meet some lemurs,
venture into some rain forest,
swim in the Indian Ocean,
I will explore this,
island that is the 4th,
biggest in the world,
I'm grateful, of course,
to even be alive,
after all I've been through,
so I'm exercising those blessing,
headed out into,
the wild,
child,
I was and am,
I ran away at 14,
and here I am again,
running away again,
the difference is,
this time,
It's more like I'm running in to,
the great open blue,
blue waters, blue skies,
with green trees and my green eyes,
I'm writing way out of prose,
though that's the way it goes,
I suppose,
when you're chose,
for a destiny that you have yet to find,
open up your mind,
open up your heart,
open up the open road,
let me play my part,
as a freewheeling human being,
all seeing, not needing anything,
except this motorcycle I ride on,
on the rough roads of Madagascar,
wild as lion,
faster, faster, faster,
I've escaped Babylon,
into the great unknown,
and I leave nothing behind,
nothing but this poem...
