First Sight
The First time love ever hit me,
It felt like the armada hammering me off the coast of Kimberley.
She came out of the blue, It caught me off guard, She was so stunning that I went full retard.
Tripping over my feet I could barely speak, So I sounded the alarm and began my retreat.
Fell back to my world of music and writing but the damage was done & it was binding.
She appeared in every word, on every line, from that day on she was always on my mind.
It's a shock she ain't been arrested yet, That woman stole my heart without a single regret.
She could never love someone so shy and awkward, Becoming a better man was my only option.
Opening my mind and stepping out the door into a world never seen before, I became the opposite of who I was and all that I adored.
A new spinning image of my dear Ol sweet dad, Only I didn't want the life he had.
See I wasn't after every woman in this world just the attention of that special girl.
