Ineffably Irrevocable

Deep inside an oleaginous cave
I have uncovered a mystical grave
Whispering to it softly, I solemnly chant "I as one, in death we're plenty"
It rasps in defiled voices, so it responds in theophany
"We dispose of our malice in the form of our speech
Begone from our sepulchre before we besiege"
They rise up and take one great stride
I feel their razor-like claws kissing my side.
The maw of the beast closes on my head
In the next moments I am sure to be dead.
The beautiful liquid so warm and sweet
rains down like water beneath my feet
Until moments ago it coursed through my vein
Propelled by my heart through my minds somber reign.
Now I watch as it continues to ooze
The embodiment of life suddenly let loose.
The light starts to fade from mine eyne
Afterlife and being begin to intertwine
With this newfound peace I lie deathly still
To leave this world is not my will.
But I fear I must succumb to this trance
It doesn't matter the circumstance
