First Memory

When i first awoke, to experience that first memory,
Of a younger year,
My first memory should of been something so sweet,
Id wouldve always wanted to hold dear.

Screaming and blood, shouting and cold,
My guardians who were blessed and trusted with me,
My father raging as blows were thrown to mummy,
All this at only 3 years old.

I met fear for the first time, it enveloped me,
suffocating me, scarred my innocence of young heart.
It should of been happiness, joyousness, laughter or the like.
To this day i still see so vivid the memory will never depart.

"Sweet young child, fear i am here, dark, cold, i will shake you to the bone"
"I will meet you again, and i will dwell within"
"You have now met me, i will visit you more, each year you have grown".

This is my beginning...What is yours?
At a very young age, A dark moment, a cold night never forgotten.
Always relived, Permanent residence,
In my minds sight.
