The Raven's Lamentation

Will i ever see you again?

Will our paths ever cross?

My heart can not survive

Such a devastating loss

You shined into my life

like a ray of purest light

And somehow i just knew

Everything would be alright



Because you wrapped your arms around me

And my heart collapsed from love

And even though youre gone

Youre still my radiant dove



And I dont know weather

A raven and a dove can be together

But i know that for a while

We were two birds of a feather



I hope that im forgiven

In your memory of me

For the way that i was living

In the sin of jealousy

I wanted you to be mine

And was so foolish indeed

For it seems that i was blinded

By my loneliness and greed

So i gotta make myself right

Learn from the lesson u tought me

And if i get to heaven youre the first thing i would see

Then id have you back with me for all eternity
