Erroneous Views in Artificial Nightmares(EVAN)
I'm listening to the bass
grow louder and louder.
Like Pounding earthquakes
that resemble the
elaborate hymns
within my head.
Yet, holding poise like her majesty
in her open cart.
With fists clenching
I unbound
and release my roar.
It's only moments later
as we sway uneducated
with attitude and bear.
Sharing moves so violent
it could be my own assassin.
Your flamboyant eyes
say something,
but my sober mind
tells me different.
Imminently it hits me
and I'm sent to oblivion.
Waking up to realize
it was never meant to be.
I scan the room and see
my dream become my nightmare.
Why do we fall for things so artificial?
The reality of it is ruined
by reality its self.
However, my face continues to shine
as bright as those spotlights
that were on me before.
But I'm still lost
in the crowd that over shines me.
I may over think your song,
but maybe its only because
I care.
Rejection comes so frequently
creating a lessor amount of
connections.
But I don't need thick skin
to protect me from
your vile adulterations.
