TO MY MOTHERS

A mother's love is something that words can not express
it is endless and unselfish, full of sacrifice, enduring all kind of pain

I was blessed to have two mothers,
They say adopted children are the chosen one, just like in Matrix, taking the red and blue pills where you have a choice to make, a choice between embracing something new and leaving behind your ancient life only to appear in history channel.

It's been twenty years since I last saw her, my birth mother.
She was the most beautiful lady, proud like the queen of Sheba, with scents of souks, strong like wonder women, she was a warrior, protecting her child even if it means giving it up for  adoption.
That is my birth mother, all protective and caring.

Well, my new mother is no less than her, she adopted me with no questions asked, love me like her own, gave me shelter to overcome the storm, she's guided me the best way she can, she's taught me like no other. That is my new mother, my guardian angle.

They say prevention is better than cure, but yet again we all get infected by all kind of diseases one point in our  life time. Now my birth mother is battling with chronic  disease  and it's my duty as her daughter to fine  the cure and give her what she gave me LOVE, PEACE, UNITY and STRENGTH, to live on.

It's my duty as a daughter to show my new mother, my origin, a land where when you are walking on the beach, it like blanket of candy floss that is so soft and silky, where you can witness the beauty of sunset with the wave of sea making their melody music that speaks to your heart.A land where, stars winks at you from the endless arc and looks like as if they are scattered moon dust in the sky. A land that produce the best poets.

That is my origin. Am blessed to have my birth mother, her name is SOMALIA and my new mother, her name is KENYA.

These two are not just countries but they are my mothers
