My last mistake
When you found me I was in darkness and the first light I saw was your eyes,
The miracle I was waiting for finally had arrived,
You opened up my eyes and showed the meaning of true love,
You gave me hope once more, of feelings I had lost,
Our souls you entwined together; I opened up my heart to you,
We were the perfect eclipse; you were the sun and I was the moon,
Everything was perfect that there was always sunshine even in the rain,
Even throughout all the chaos of the world, I was sane,
I thought you were my oasis but in the end you were the desert instead,
A deception to my eyes and our love was a mirage that faded away,
I walked through many deserts hoping for you appear once again,
But you never showed up; all I saw was haze,
We were perfect together but you decided to walk,
Now I’m left in solitude and your memories all they do is stalk,
Memories of you and me rises in my dreams,
Infinite desires that will never leave,
Only my walls are my witness every single night,
Of me curled and cramp in my corner as you invade my life,
Your caress won’t leave my body; your image won’t leave my eyes,
Our memories won’t leave my heart; your voice won’t leave my mind,
I don’t understand why you opened up my eyes and made me fall in love,
Just to leave them open with tears that cannot stop,
The broken promises you made follow me as I try to move on,
They haunt me day and night from dusk to dawn,
As the night descends not wanting a tomorrow,
The scar on my heart reminds me of how I was betrayed by your shadow,
We all make mistakes in life but your one I will never forget,
Believing that you and I were one was my own blame,
I was the fool that fell for you but that will never happen again,
I won’t repeat my past so I’ll make sure in love you’ll be my last mistake,
You were everything to me; the joy and happiness in my life,
But unfortunately you were also my let down and my demise,
The miracle I was waiting for finally had arrived,
You opened up my eyes and showed the meaning of true love,
You gave me hope once more, of feelings I had lost,
Our souls you entwined together; I opened up my heart to you,
