SugarSkull Part Two
The party was broken up twenty minutes later. Red and blue lights filled the air as Eli raced away into the night. Every jerk sent my head reeling. I giggled, I felt great. The dark sky soared beautifully above our heads.
We ended up at Eli's small loft. It had been a long day. Hell it had been a long year. That was the reason for wanting to let loose wasn't it? [Of course it was, Autumn.] I smile, for once the voice in my head agrees with me. Eli flips on some old t.v. show. It lulled on in the background. My mind was still dancing when Eli kissed me again. It was a beautiful passionate kiss. But I was scared, and my eyes felt like they were glued open. I cuddled into ELi's arms. My body told me to sleep, my head keep noticing a fly in the corner of the t.v.
Hours later, we wont outside to watch the sun come up. It was beautiful shining over the crystal blue ocean. I didnt really have a curfew, but I knew my mom would of wanted me to at least call. I reach into my pocket. Sure enough, 5 missed calls. I was in for hell when I got home.
Considerably, I took my time getting home. Eli drove slow,as i concentrated on the pounding in my head. The small red house pulled into view. My head starting spinning again. Eli pulled to a stop. "Pick me up later?" He nodded and kissed me softly.
I climbed out of the Buick and tredged up the stairs. As soon as the doors opened, the yelling began.
"just because you have no curfew doesnt mean do not call"
[yes, i get that.]
"you may be eighteen but you still live here. my rules.]
[ha, aren't you a great mom]
"you aren't going out tonight, you need to stay home"
[no, im getting high]
i smiled at the voice in my head and nod. "sorry mother."
