Ancient Night Rendezvous
floating in the soothing darkness,my paradise,
I feel your hand as you caress my shoulder,
short raven hair frames your face in the moonlight,
we kiss and the night grows colder,
you look into me,dark piercing eyes,
saying why did you wait so long my dear,
you know we only have this chance
every 1000 lonely years.
we danced,the dance,that lovers dance,
to this insatiable hunger we become slaves,
savoring sweet tasting ecstasy
as we toss and turn in the grave.
alas I feel the morning beckoning me,
but I could not bear to say goodbye,
I felt a tear burn your lips
as you fade away at first light.
