Slaves
How free do you feel
unchained
highly paid
fastest on highway
wheels of gold
when it rains you unaffected
Like God
a million children dies
a couple cares
your type dies
a million cries
You sing they listen
you smoke they smoke
dye your hair
and they do the same
all they doing now is copy the screen
how good is a ten year old smoking green
rapping their white arses off
to Wiz Khalifa - young wild and free
i'm just asking?
how free do you feel
I still haven't answered a question from my brother
"Kev, What's a niggah"
What do you tell a loving younger brother
but look at him in the eye...and say
"Patrick wherever you heard it from, let it live there
don't say that word in the family home or anywhere else
you feel loved, It's a bad word "
but I should have just said its a word
common in music world
and in historical world
representing hatred
was mainly used by free people
...towards slaves and non-equals
But how free would he feel though
Staying up late at night, listening to rap music
I myself love a-bit of that
personally, I think some of it gives the right message
in bad language making it hard to hate it or love it
...I've always appreciated everyone gifted to tell a story
in a song or even a poem
I consider myself a story teller too
In my stories is a free mind
that bakes free thoughts
but will they be understood in this slaved world
I believe I've got a free-life chance there
but I care
so I'm concerned
... about others
that live in same real world as I
and I do please beg you to keep your heart open
mind fully active
and let the eyes guide you right way
'cause these days life's hard
love ain't found
and greed's made us blind
Be careful with whatever it is
you seek to find
we finally free they say
No chains
no cuffs...fair rights
but have you ever wondered for a moment?
are we really free?
what if they just improved the slavery system?
and you with others of your kind
are nothing special
but of same league
...of
