and pages turn ever so countlessly
thinking, breathing, such wonderful fables
as people look to them with scrutiny
sitting below the willows or maples
eyes flickering over the stories words
taking in a new character not lost
learning more of adjectives, nouns and verbs
learning anew at any given cost
getting to know an author who can write
of such fantasies unthought by others
whose mind is so very, extremely, bright
whose thoughts are always those that smother
in death authors leave legacy
to be found by others who see
