The Death of the Morrow
Nearing the end
Of this longest hard road,
What lies ahead,
More pain and sorrow?
I wish
For one reprieve
Just one break
From it all.
But no, just tears
That run down
My screaming face,
laced with hate
And grief that Burns.
My life fleets
Like blowing ash.
Will I last
'Til the death of
The morrow?
Of this longest hard road,
What lies ahead,
More pain and sorrow?
I wish
For one reprieve
Just one break
From it all.
But no, just tears
That run down
My screaming face,
laced with hate
And grief that Burns.
My life fleets
Like blowing ash.
Will I last
'Til the death of
The morrow?
