School Is Prison
Four walls that hold us in,
teachers are guards;
won't let us have no freedom,
askin' permission before goin' some place,
can't leave 'til the bell has rang.
For fourteen years,
held as prisoner,
since the age of four.
wakin' up early at the crack of dawn,
to sit and be tortured all day long.
The food they serve,
is plastic and rubber,
the same exact things all week long.
I forgot about this poem. It was a creative writing assignment in my senior year of high school almost 2 years ago. I know there's hillbilly talk in there but my teacher wanted us to use diction :D
~~All my poems are copyright of 2012 and 2013. No part of my poems are to be copied without my permission. Thank you!
