when I lived in San Francisco,
my favourite walks were through
the wet fog as the mist blew in
off the Pacific Ocean. Your poem

for me the breeze is
off the Thames and
it carries with it smells
and history and slaps
you in the face at night...
and I often walk beside
it in the dark thinking
and feeling...
