Am I There?
Edging my way through,
Leaves crumble beneath my feet
Running past tall, shadowy figures for
What look like giants.
Am I there yet?
A bright light shines in the distance
Followed by barks and angry growls
I run faster only to run into a river
And fearfully try to swim across
The current is strong and I cannot hold
On any longer. . .
Sinking deep into the depths of the
River
A hand reaches and pulls me up
Too dark to see their face pulls me to the
Other side
Laying there until the dark figure
Disappears I start again on the wild goose
Chase not knowing which way is North
I keep running.
Soon I find a clearing that looks
Like an opening, no not an opening
A border
I Am There!
Leaves crumble beneath my feet
Running past tall, shadowy figures for
What look like giants.
Am I there yet?
A bright light shines in the distance
Followed by barks and angry growls
I run faster only to run into a river
And fearfully try to swim across
The current is strong and I cannot hold
On any longer. . .
Sinking deep into the depths of the
River
A hand reaches and pulls me up
Too dark to see their face pulls me to the
Other side
Laying there until the dark figure
Disappears I start again on the wild goose
Chase not knowing which way is North
I keep running.
Soon I find a clearing that looks
Like an opening, no not an opening
A border
I Am There!
