To truly face your fears, You must pollute the good in you

Walk into your hell to destroy the hell in you
Rise up to your heaven to destroy the heavens
The only good you need is already inside you
The only evil that exists, Exists inside you

Our skin is but a fragile hollow shell, Begging for release
Cut to shreds, Burned to ash, And rebuilt every waking breath
We are but a phoenix flying too close to the sun
As our wings collapse upon us, Our eyes are open for the first time

We witness the atrocity of humanity, The crimes committed endlessly
Our scars bear witness, As our hands are used in a puppeteer’s game
Will we continue to spend our lives under the shadow of a hopeless reign
Or will we rise against and feel our sorrow fall away with the cleansing rain

Walk shoulder to shoulder, Face down your enemies till they break
Consume the greatness hanging in the balance and become perfect
