Little One (kae)

She walks around with a smile on her face
not a single clue
no care in the world, cept for her kitten
There's nothing she's scared to do.

Brushing her teeth so nice
putting cute little dresses on
getting filthy dirty before she comes home
you can tell she's had fun.

At home, here I sit
wondering what's going to happen to me
Walking around at work, a smile on my face
What do they expect of me?

Hard working, loving person
I dont know how much more I am
will she be still loving her mommy
can I also be her friend?

I love my little girl so much
I want the best for her life..
I'm scared she's going to end up like me...
I want her to be a great wife.

But I can't even show her
what it is to be good...
I'm such a bad influence
I never ever thought I would (be).

So, I kiss her good night
all she does is smile...
say "momma give me smooches"
I think I'll lay with her a while.

I'm going to try to be okay
I know she needs me around.
But for now the tv turns off itself
Not a single sound,

I look at her while she sleeps
and I know she needs me
so from now on, I'll try my best
she's my best achievement.
