My Vacation

Finally a vacation for me
A few I get to take, but only three
So, here off we go…

Tornado, you’re coming with me
I want to see
Experience those mind games of yours
And the words you scribe
So eloquently
We’ll have some fun
And I won’t tell a soul what happens
In Venice, of course


Flowergirl, you’re my girl
You’ll keep me grounded
And share some stories of that place
We both know
Feed on each other’s encouraging souls
And remind each other of the other’s strength
Share a few bottles of wine (or whatever we can find)
‘cause I’ll need it after that Tornado invades me

I’ll take that Country Girl next
You know you who are
We’ll spend some time in a country field
Dance in the rain
And see it where it heads
New experiences is what it’s about
New for me at least, you might have to teach me
That’ll be the fun part though
