Smoke Filled Tears
Our eyes meet
You're begging me to rescue you
And If you look in my eyes you'll see I'm begging you too
As I'm on the roof
I contemplate
Combining my height and my weight
Thinking I could loose a pound or two
That way when I hit the cloud like ground
Maybe I'll float away pound upon pound
As I whisper to your ear
A tear drops from your eye
And your words fill with fear
I'm so sorry I never meant to make you cry
And If I told you I was really just desperate for attention
Would you dismiss my whispers as a lie
And I wish someone could see through the words I say
And I wish you could hear all the things I pray
Silly Fat Cat on the window-seal
My thoughts and my heart You did just steal
And If God wills it I hope we'll both make it
Even If he doesn't I've already said to him "ITS YOUR LIFE... So just take it.
Please..."
