Marriage gone wrong

On my journey of this thing called life
I married a man became his wife
Many years would bring about
Three beautiful children I could never live with out
No one knew about the hell I would go through
Even I didn't have a clue
All the abuse was more then I could bare
As the children listened unseemly scared
Years would pass unlike the abuse
Pondering the pros and cons hunting for possible clues
I finely decided it was time
Before to long I'd be hitting my prime
So four years ago I filed for divorce
No hard feelings of anger or remorse
Now I'm single enjoying my life
Extremely excited to be no longer his wife
