The Dance of Winter's Princess

In a sea of white,
A lone snowflake falls to heed winter's delight,
Uniquely different from all the rest,
The snowflake falls upon my chest.

Laying down in the snow,
Gazing up at the sky with its wintery glow,
The frozen majesty all around,
Makes the heart leap and bound.

Here I am in a glistening paradise,
A magical scene covered with ice,
The royalty sitting upon a frozen cold throne,
I'm laying in this beauty, but I'm not alone.

I hear a voice that's very distinct,
I know at once the sound of Tink,
The beautiful Winter Princess has come out of her castle,
Easily noticed by her long silvery tassel.

She comes my way,
I know this is her day to play,
Words pour out from her soft cool lips,
As delicate and beautiful as rose hips.

She speaks of wondrous news,
It appears her Wintery majesty has to choose,
One she loves with all her heart,
A spirit from which she'll never have to part.

She dances around as if on air,
The snowflakes fall from her long flowing hair,
So very graceful is she,
It would seem her wintery dance is meant for me.
