Obsession
Wanting, needing.
Longing, dreaming.
Desire, feeding this obsession that is you.
Out of the darkness, you materialize.
Fire burns in cerulean eyes.
Hand outstretched, an invitation. I accept, no hesitation.
Hands, so warm, glide over my skin.
Lips so sweet, they taste like sin.
Your voice in my ear, so captivating.
The scent of your skin, intoxicating.
Tempting, teasing.
Begging, pleading.
Desire, feeding this obsession that is you.
Desperate, I fall to my knees and plead, amusing you with my display of need.
Taking pity, finally conceding you pull me close, our bodies meeting.
Like a drug as it enters the vein, the rush of you is both pleasure and pain.
I ask myself as I look in your eyes, are you my salvation or my demise?
Touching, pleasing.
Craving, seeking.
Desire, feeding this obsession that is you.
We rise, soaring high above it all.
I'm safe in your arms when we finally fall.
Two hearts beat as one, side by side.
Content, we drift, swept away by the tide.
Suddenly I wake to find it was only a dream.
No! I cry, claw at the sheets, and scream.
The pain tears through me, rips me apart.
To live without you is breaking my heart.
Wanting, needing.
Dying, bleeding.
Desire, feeding this obsession that is you.
