Dear Bowlmaster

With every means

To gratify the soul,

The heart, the mind,

Load the bowl,

The spark too friendly,

My wounds too deep,

Only escaping

When I fall asleep.

Having

Simplistic visions of a complex world,

Tell me sir,

Has the path uncoiled?

The lonely labyrinth

I walk,

Seeking some light

In this world infested by

Man's blight.

I sought the path to heaven,

As I did for hell,

All I found was indifference

Laying around like shells -

Blown to smithereens

Was my mind.

These perceptions, my thoughts,

I yearn the day I fall

Into momentary bliss

When I kiss the glass -

Let the time last and pass,

Leaving every moment,

Every second,

Within seconds.

Recollecting the faith

In this world I hate,

I must escape!

Oh Captain! Set sail

To the land of More,

And I won't look back,

Oh, I'll never look back.

These hearts,

I see ice,

And these souls,

I see black,

Plagued by the lack

Of love.

How could this have happened,

Dear Bowl Master?

What do they expect of you?

40 days 'n' nights

Christ went famished,

But no sustenance

For thy affliction?

What more can I say

To this world?

Tossed into confusion

Is my mind.

Our addiction to risk,

Can no longer sustain,

The rain will wash the pain

Away. Away

Will the rights be lost,

To living and choosing a

Medicine for the mind.

End this madness!

Harper plays the harp,

Broken strings and

Untuned chaos,

Tradition will change,

Injustice be undone.

The rage of youth,

The dogma of Fools,

Let the revolution spin.

Victory is within the toke.
