The Connection Between Us
You brought me to life breathed new life into this old soul showed no restraint and witnessed passion's first glow slow at first just embers but then the embers bloomed into beautiful flame and the first flame into a raging inferno you made me feel whole...and somehow broken took the chance and a new world opened it was strange for a second and within ii somehow knew that the connection between us was real and not imagined because your eyes reveal a light that beckons and i feel helpless against it want nothing more than another taste of freedom in your embrace come to me love no time to waste and release me from the shackles within which you've had me placed

Wow Chels! This was written wonderfully! Never used drugs before, so It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the love affair, but knowing so many who have dance with drugs, I can see the strong force and power of it and how it becomes your best friend and the only thing that can save your life, while in the moment!

Thanks but actually......ii wrote this about a good friend of mine from forever ago, we grew up together and a couple months ago he made a move that opened my eyes to a whole new side of US.....and ever since it just lingers in my mind.....kind of like a drug addiction so putting this piece in this section made more sense than putting it under love poems
