A Summer Reverie
An ocean of stars
Fill the night sky
Upon an old hill
On soft grass I lie
Not a cloud
For miles around
A view so clear
The sky so proud
The cool winds caress
A pillow of golden leaves
Soft glow of fireflys
A summer reverie
My mind travels far
But my body lies still
The dawn wakens me
The dew brings a chill
I heard you sigh
From the clouds
That cover the sky
Like a shroud
I felt you so near
You laid there with me
Your hand in mine
A summer reverie
Fill the night sky
Upon an old hill
On soft grass I lie
Not a cloud
For miles around
A view so clear
The sky so proud
The cool winds caress
A pillow of golden leaves
Soft glow of fireflys
A summer reverie
My mind travels far
But my body lies still
The dawn wakens me
The dew brings a chill
I heard you sigh
From the clouds
That cover the sky
Like a shroud
I felt you so near
You laid there with me
Your hand in mine
A summer reverie
