Something Grimm
I've never been this heart broken before...
Could it be that this is my only fate?
My soul bleeds the blood of darkness.
And that darkness cries out to my world,
"Come, join me my child. Fore the long path ahead of you awaits the touch of your cold, dead body."
Will I be free from this horror?
Or will this horror continue to follow me,
Taking away my life, limb by limb?
For days, I walk this path of depression,
As it slowly eats away at my health...my sanity.
I want to turn back, but Death will not allow it.
"You must keep going...fore your soul belongs to me now."
I want to cry, but I can't.
I cried my last tear...long ago,
When those words slipped from his mouth, "We're through."
Because of those words,
My body refuses to let me sleep...to let me eat.
I don't know how long I can live like this,
But however long it may take...I can wait.
I can wait until those arms reach down into the realm of the Reaper...
And once again scream out, "I Love You."
Until then...I will sit here, cradled in the hands of Death,
As he takes away every last second of my life.
Could it be that this is my only fate?
My soul bleeds the blood of darkness.
And that darkness cries out to my world,
"Come, join me my child. Fore the long path ahead of you awaits the touch of your cold, dead body."
