Cotton To Silk

Victim of Man's thirst for greatness and power
They needed our blood to water white flowers
Nothing is forgotten, your screams will be louder
The harvest is too big you have sown for too long

Africa is the mother of us all
We were born like brothers
Don't treat us like strangers
When you break yours
Do you have any regrets?

Wealth only comes from the heart and the sweat
I've lived in the cotton fields but I'll live in silk
Get ready to have an even more cruel master
While I'll fly with the most Merciful Savior
