Thirteen Candles

Affliction has gathered upon this night
wrapped in beauty thru gossamer flight.
Pilgrimaging this vacuousness of time and space
settling down in this land, a forgotten place.

Sorcerers constellate round this circle of stones
idolizing godless prophets, the ancient ones.
Within this haze, the dying glow of a crimson sun
their sacrilege of evil has only begun.

These evil devils rest upon their knees
as the blackness consumes, but they cannot see.
Ruby crystals form, slithering from inside
filling the cavernous craters of their minds.

Thirteen candles, thirteen maidens, chosen for sacrifice
thirteen ivory necks, the knife will fatally slice.
Blood has crystalized becoming ruby ice
sleep, maidens. you have paid the dearest price.
