Alice
My darling little angel
I love her more than life
And sometimes I must wonder
If she’d make as good a wife
She’s my best friend in the world
We’re as close as family
With all we share, if more we shared
How perfect life could be
My darling little angel
Couldn’t be more precious if she were mine
She’s like a daughter but so much more
She’s practically divine
When we first met she ran to me
Her arms open wide
I felt complete like she belonged there
Clinging to my side
I love her with a father’s love
Perhaps just a little more
The way she brightens up my day
I can’t help but adore
What do I feel
What does she feel
I don’t know what is real
I’d love to kiss those sweet lips
To feel her tender touch
To know if I could mean any more
To the one I love so much
I love her more than life
And sometimes I must wonder
If she’d make as good a wife
She’s my best friend in the world
We’re as close as family
With all we share, if more we shared
How perfect life could be
My darling little angel
Couldn’t be more precious if she were mine
She’s like a daughter but so much more
She’s practically divine
When we first met she ran to me
Her arms open wide
I felt complete like she belonged there
Clinging to my side
I love her with a father’s love
Perhaps just a little more
The way she brightens up my day
I can’t help but adore
What do I feel
What does she feel
I don’t know what is real
I’d love to kiss those sweet lips
To feel her tender touch
To know if I could mean any more
To the one I love so much
