abuse

it comes in many different forms,

fists or words we get it from the day we are born,

some escape and live their life,

other have to fight them off with a kitchen knife,

parents come home drunk and pick up a fist,

little jammie has to run as the punch barley missed,

he fleas up stairs and locks his door,

for fear of getting beaten once more,

his dad banging on the door and swearing like crazy,

breaks down the door punches wee jamie everything is hazy,

sadly its not just jamie that gets this shit,

swore at and get hit after hit,

people in relationships get abuse each other,

some is sexual, physical guys beat up their kids mother,

but guys get it too but no-one should,

if we seen what we do would we change if we could?,

poor little jamie gets beaten from morning till night,

his cries for help ignored so soon he gives up the fight,

his mother turns her back and says he fell down stairs,

body covered in scars even under his hair,

kids are born in to fucked up society,

a world in which parents care less about them,

their cries ignored and silenced fast,

their futures look bleak from the horrific abused past,

how many times do kids have to hide,

or how many kids have sadly died,

from abusive family member too drunk to talk,

how many kids have broken legs and can no longer walk,

its a sad state of affairs but this is all true,

children finding it hard to carry on through,

i wont stand for it will you?,

because no-one deserves this life no child, woman or man,

no-one deserves to be on the violent side of someone else hand.............
