The Story of Set

 Oh, brother.
Oh, Sister.
Why have you forsaken me?

Cast away into the desert, banished among the storms
A being of rage suddenly took form
I’m seething, I’m burning, I must take revenge
For the wrongs done to me, I must avenge

A fire in my heart and sand runs in my veins
Thunder in my thoughts, covers the pain
Others whom hate, they all shall flock to me
A forsaken belief is all I need

Sandstorm rising
(Ten thousand priests marching)
Thunder crashing
(Their hatred screaming out)
Lightning striking
(Their fists hammer your face)
Fires raging
(The Temple of Set)

Strength in numbers follow their outcast god
A surge of power a lightning rod
Songs of praise and the Set Beast awakens
Amon looks down, his heart breaks and
I can’t see the light of day. No!

Sandstorm rising
(Ten thousand priests crying)
Thunder crashing
(Their woes screaming out)
Lightning striking
(Bastard, you won’t stop me)
Fires raging
(Damn you, I am Set)

Jealously has stabbed my heart
Brother, now you must die
Parts and pieces shall cover the Nile!
From this a creature rise
A hawk face beast stares
Horus, nephew, so vile

Worlds collide and gods fight
Lightning breaks the night
A clever trick, you fooled me
Who’s the trickster, you or me?
Sister, Isis, why step in?
Just to watch all again

Sandstorm rising
(The never ending battle)
Thunder crashing
(Draw your sword)
Lightning striking
(Who is the best?)
Fires raging
(It is I, Set!)
