The consequences of love at second sight
Drenched in gold
She strolled
Clenched my fist
And broke my wrist
A wisp like wasps
Swung in my thoughts
I loudly wondered
From where she wandered
Ponder as I might
How she brightened night
She shocked me
When she stopped me
with toxic delight.
Probably accidental
Is what I kept mental
Incidental; why question?
and this remained my contention
But when this ended i knew,
It was absolutely intended.
And to pieces I flew
The way teeth chew
I told her how
To cut me down,
Now look at me,
I'm ripped clothes;
disturbed ground.
Epilogue
A dusty pen
in a pool of nerves,
Oh how careless we
can be with words.
