Image for the poem out the window

out the window

I looked out the window early this morning
the sun was shining brightly into the room
my nipple touched the cool glass and hardened
you were standing on the corner, face full of gloom

I didn't know you but I was touched by the pain in your eyes
your handsome face kept my attention as something stirred in me
what was it about you, I just could not seem to look away
just stood there at my window naked where anyone could see

Just as I had convinced myself to walk away, you looked up
eyes locked, then you scanned over my body with a smile
I should have moved or covered myself but I just stared back
you did too, bus came and left, next would be quite a while

Pulled myself from the window when I noticed others
what did they think of me, did they enjoy the show
grabbed my robe, made my bed and headed back to the window
heat filled my cheeks as I peeked to watch and see you go

Your weren't there, but that bus still hadn't come
a little sad that you were gone I let out a sigh
what was it about you, your face was burned in my mind
I wondered if I'd see you again, if you'd ever walk by

Was heading for the kitchen when the doorbell wrang
headed toward my front door to see who was there
stunned by your presence, I froze and then smiled
for what seemed like forever, all we did was stare

You moved closer to me and I looked up at you
you smelled so good but you still wore a slight frown
I breathed you in, captivated by your alluring aroma
then invited you in, asked you to come sit down

Silence was overtaken by the sound of our breathing
again our eyes locked and we stared into each other's eyes
you slowly bent in as if to kiss me and paused at my lips
my heart pounded wildly and I started to feel a little shy

The next thing I knew we were kissing, wildly
hands were moving everywhere with carnal intent
I knew I should pull back and stop this now
but the thought left my head, I felt content

Gently you laid me across my sofa as we kissed
easily slid away my robe and ran your tongue over me
we licked and sucked, nibbled and tasted one another
I was as turned on as any one person could ever be

Like never before, I surrendered myself completely
you showed me things never known to me, before you
lost track of our pleasures as you took me repeatedly
we moaned together and we came together too

I startled awake, disoriented and I looked around for you
had you really been there, or was it just a dream
my entire body pleasantly ached as if it had been true
I went back to the window, you looked up your smile did beam

The bus then pulled up as I looked and you got on
from the window you smiled, winked and waved goodbye
I didn't have your number, didn't even know your name
but the memory of that day will be with me til I die
