My last breath

Do the shadows have eyes, do these walls have ears, if they do, could they hear me cry, did they see my tears, one step under the sun, one day, one love, my last breath, who should I reach, would anybody listen, or would they, continue on, without skipping a beat, what would I have to offer, would I even speak, if the world was listening, what would I say, could I make an impact, or would I be forgotten by tomorrow, my memory I hope, lasts, I don't want to be known, as someone who lived in the past, lay me down to sleep, when it's quiet, listen to the sound, of my heartbeat, slowly as my eyes close, my heart, comes to a stop, memories flash through my mind, one last smile, one last time, as it's time to take, my last breath, I look around and see, I was never alone, I had my family, chills fill the room, and as the last pedal falls, I prayed to god, and with my last breath, I saved my soul.
