Thief

Excuse me miss, can I get your name before I rob you
Of your time, money, emotions and spiritual beliefs
I’m not your common thief
I’m the last person you would expect
I distract you with nice things and sex
I also disconnect you from family and friends
This is because I gave you an ultimatum of it’s either me or them
A thief like me preys on the things that make you weak
Falsely build you up as I tell you I’m all that you need
Destroy your self-esteem and the love for me will prevent you to leave
I can go and cheat
Blame it on you and in order to keep me, give you a list of goals I expect you to meet
I would take responsibility but it don’t take that much to get you ladies between the sheets
You see a cute face, good personality and good sex but you don’t see you’re sleeping with a thief
I’ve robbed you of your time
Taking years to reprogram your mind
I’ve robbed you of your money blind
I keep you in debt and different binds
I’ve robbed you of your emotions
Even knowing what you know
I did a good enough job on you that you’ll never let me go
I’ve robbed you of your spiritual beliefs
You still believe in God but you believe more in me
As I look around, I can see a lot of you ladies are with a thief
They even put a ring on it but not out of love
This is to keep you from testifying against them to a Judge
Long live the thief.
