Ready For The World
Ready for something real. I thought that you would be home by now. I have accepted that by the time you get here, I'll be gone, and neither of us will ever have anything other than insecurity, doubt, great fucking memories of adventures, and a hell of a lot of wondering what it really was, what it coulda and woulda been, and spending our lonely moments wondering "what if we had just swallowed the pride and written a different ending?". After all we've been through, the result will be the realization that we wrote this for ourselves, we just spent our time focused on laying the publishing rights at insignificant people's feet.

Very realistic. Part one of many. Will be compiled someday when I have enough courage to put my life experiences to fiction and bind them for publishing so that my secrets always remain safe.

Morningglori you would never believe in a million years what brought this one about. Pain, yes, realistically rendered, absolutely,but no one could ever understand from where I came. There were only two kindred souls, one Nissan, a monsoon season from hell, cold showers, two tacos for one dollar, and an undying devotion I've never felt before or since. Too afraid to be put into the category I'd just been slammed into by another so easily. And more regret here than in any thing else because I chose to safely keep my love of a friend than to chance. If you can read between those lines, then you are absolutely right. We always could bitch. No one but you.
