The Woeful Song of Hope

Fifty-two and I'm alone,
My voice a mournful song.
Calling out through the waves,
To the far off worlds.

Someone hear me!
Someone see me!
Anyone...

The seas are dark,
A bottom of death,
Above me,
Bellow me.
There is nothing left.

Worry not,
You'll see me yet.
I'm growing strong,
All along,
The years have passed.

I've grown up.

I'll continue strong,
Because there's nothing
Left to lose,
There's all the more
To gain.

Although I'm weary,
Of my constant tears
In the deep blue world.

There is all the more
To fight for.
Being fifty-two hertz,
Alone.

The world shall see me,
Hear my woe,
Love my soul,
Never more alone.
