Heather

The walls of my room
Echo with darkness
Filled with the paintings
By my insanity
Only when I hear the voices
Do true feelings weep
I shed a tear when the children arrive
Mom tells me I'll be just fine
They're all in my head
Mom whispered at once
But now that shes gone
No one can care
For a girl who sees secrets
Written in hair
My dad said I'm mad
My brother creeped out
My older sister
Won't bring my nieces around
I know I'm insane
But it's not a game
I'll take the pills if they all go away.
I beg to be normal
To just have one friend
But the colors attack as soon as they creep in
Look to my left
Then to my right
Is that really you?
Mother Nature
Your hair is of twigs
I've seen you before
Look there's a cat
Gods getting closer
My mom is crying as she grabs my hand
Now I realize what Dan did.
He told me to hold
A gun to my head
Laughed as he told me
I'll end up dead.
She pulled the trigger
Carly that bitch
But at least they're all gone
And I can breath at last
Schizophrenia is not a joke
Killed this beautiful teen
Heather rest in peace
