My Submission

submission is an act
relinquishing control
to another being
who guides your soul

there is only love
and pleasure to unfold
for myself it’s taken years
to erase deep hidden fears

my body is a playground
where minds have been reset
behind closed doors
in private do I present

for day time brings
a stressful role
of many hours
truth be told

so at evening rest
I do my best
give up control
and do as I’m told

my mind is free
and body quenched
and now is the time
to just be me
