The Downfall
This is the A&P, Mickey D's downfall of man
the chemical cow, transgendered mushroom,
germ warfare concord to oblivion.
This is a time of "Hit me baby one more time,"
"Slap me baby one more time,"
"Beat the shit out of me because I just don't fucking get it
one more time."
It is the cellophane wrapped- plastic bubble-
styrofoam peanut- overnight delivery-
we've gone to plaid-
ludicrous speed- faster and-
faster and-
faster
reason to slow down...
and chew before swallowing.
