I was told once as a child
to never let go of what I got,
because it should eat at you
I believed in it a lot.

Now that I look back at it
I know what I did wrong,
I listed to them everyone
now I quit the bong.

I am now a stronger person
I am better that all that bull shit,
I know that I dont have to do
what everyone does to fit.

I know I can be myself
if you dont like me for me then leave,
you will never know what I really want to say
I have better things up my sleeve.

I am not a fighter
for I am stronger,
I am not a baby
for like this ill survive a lot longer.

I am a man
a man of words and god,
I am not some turtle
or some bug sitting in some pod.

I am a man of wisdom
you see you can be this too,
no one else matters now
its only what matters to you.

People say harmful things
just to piss you to the ground,
but remember your strong
don't be down be proud.

everyone has problems
I watched a friend commit suicide,
life is difficult yes
but you only have one ride.

just take it
make the best of it for you,
there will be bumps
but you have to be tride and true.
