Country

I'm a country girl proud and true
who doesn't want a thing to do
with a city slicker
that wants to snicker
behind my back
'bout what I lack.
I may not have a horse or tractor
but I sure as heck know what I'm after.
I've got my truck which is good luck.
If you're gonna threaten me then back on up.
My shot's good
and my hood
could use an ornament that's mighty slim
with clothes of perfect trim.
I may not hunt
but I know how to get what I want.
I may not have professional-lookin' shoes
but at keast I have a clue
'bout what it's like
'round here at night.
I tend to drink from mason jars
and love to look up at the stars.
I like muddin'
and always huggin'
my friends and boyfriend
through every bend
in my life
cause i know it's right.
I'm a country girl proud and true
and I love my life more than anyone's ever knew.
