Sleep
To midnight the clock slowly creeps.
I lie in silence
A somber sleep.
Attempt to wake me if you dare.
Shake me
Call out my name.
But do not weep.
Mother, sister-
Brother, father and friend.
Do not weep.
My silence is lovely
And my mind set deep.
Do not shake me
Do not call upon my name.
For I have regained strength.
Tears no longer streak my face.
Sorrow has risen and fallen into place.
And although my mind had changed...
I sleep tonight, tommarow and today.
